Have you read to your child today? Reading is very important in the life of a child. It is important that he/she is read to and is picking out books to read on his/her own. In second grade students will be asked to read each night as part of their daily homework. I hope that this becomes an enjoyable task for your child and is not considered to be work. If you need assistance choosing books at your child's level, please do not hesitate to ask or if you just need some books for your home, please ask.
