In 7th grade science, you can expect to be immersed in hands-on experiences that will help you understand the "why's" of the world around us. We will do as many labs as possible with the time we have available. We will focus on heat, electricity, sound, and light energy for the first semester. Then, for the second semester, we will switch gears to learn about forces, motion, and simple machines. We will end our time together with a study of space which will culminate with a trip to the Challenger Learning Center and building our own rockets. It is such a fun and exciting curriculum to teach, I hope you enjoy it too! |
