Welcome!

Early Childhood Mission Statement
To provide a safe, nurturing and positive learning environment.  We are committed to creating developmentally appropriate learning opportunities for all children through active play.

General Information

Our classrooms provide a place where each child can learn at his/her own pace in a non-competitive, non-threatening, positive, nurturing environment where learning is fun.  Children learn in natural ways, while teachers provide understanding, enthusiasm and patience.

Children must be 3 years old by July 31, 2010 to be enrolled in a Pattonville preschool classroom.  Children eligible for Kindergarten attendance in the Fall of 2010 typically attend the PM class session while younger children are typically enrolled in the AM class session.

A Message From the Director

Greetings to supporters of our Pattonville young children. Thank you for visiting our early childhood website. My hope is that you will find all kinds of information for you and your family on this site, and that the information is useful to you. Our hope and dream for Pattonville is that each and every Pattonville family with children under kindergarten age call upon us to assist them with their parenting and children's needs. Please call upon us to assist you in your most important job…that of being a parent.

We have so many reasons to count our blessings in Pattonville and wish to share those blessings with you. We continually have the opportunity to grow and improve programs and services for young children and families of Pattonville. Currently we have preschool-based programs, early childhood special education, federally-funded preschool opportunities, Parents As Teachers (PAT) support opportunities and support options for adolescent parents in our community. We hope to grow and expand our service delivery to meet the needs of our changing Pattovnille community.

We would love to have you as a partner. Please call our office at (314) 213-8105 or (314) 213-8100 to see how we may assist you and your family. Please also consider joining our Parent/Teacher Organization (PTO) and/or our Early Childhood Improvement Team (ECIT) to be a part of our continual improvement efforts. If you are a parent visiting this website, I want to thank you for allowing us to do what we love….educating and supporting you and your precious children!

Sincerely,
Laurie J. Wenzel, Ed. S.
